God has promised the "Latter Rain" of the Holy Spirit (Joel 2:28-32; Acts 2:17-21) to give the last message of mercy to the world with a "Loud Cry" (Revelation 18:1-2). Then, Jesus will come. This is the "Blessed Hope".
Many Seventh-day Adventists are asking God to give us that "Latter Rain". Should we? Is God delaying Jesus' coming? Are we waiting on God to act?
The Jews have been praying for the coming of the Messiah for the last 2000 years! Sadly, their prayers are useless: as you may know it has already happened.
As some Jews have found in their Bible evidence that the Messiah already came in Jesus, so we find that heaven has already sent "us" the "beginning" of the latter rain of the Holy Spirit that we had prayed for so much:
"The Lord in His great mercy sent a most precious message to His people through Elders Waggoner and Jones. This message was to bring more prominently before the world the uplifted Saviour, the sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. It presented justification through faith in the Surety; it invited the people to receive the righteousness of Christ, which is made manifest in obedience to all the commandments of God. . .This is the message that God commanded to be given to the world. It is the third angel's message, which is to be proclaimed with a loud voice, and attended with the outpouring of His Spirit in a large measure."
Testimonies to Ministers, page 91, 92.
Then, Ellen White adds, we disdained it “just like the Jews.”
And the fact that Jesus has not come back yet (at the time of this writing) is the evidence that the Seventh-day Adventists have not accepted that Latter Rain nor proclaimed the Loud Cry.
Therefore, all these prayers of these last 128 years for the latter rain have been and are totally useless. What we need is to accept the beginning of the latter rain that God has already given us. Hence this website... More.
